Nuova battaglia di Facebook contro il nudo e le mamme che allattano

Si possono cancellare da Facebook le foto delle donne che allattano perché inappropriate? Il social network seguendo una rigida politica aziendale che vuole proteggere tutti gli utenti, i bambini a partire dai 13 anni, ha deciso di cancellare molte di queste immagini perché le mamme appaiono con il seno nudo.
È una controversia che va avanti dal 2007 e che vede l’azienda contrapposta a decine di migliaia di utenti che usano il sito per promuovere uno stile di vita più naturale e approppriato per le mamme e i bambini, incoraggiando l’allattamento al seno. There’s no doubt that breasts are sexualized in our society, even when they’re doing what they’re designed for — feeding babies. And that’s not sitting well with breast-feeding advocates who are angry that Facebook has once again removed photos of mothers nursing their babies.
